A payment holiday allows you to take a break from making your contractual monthly payment for an agreed period. 

The concessions will vary from one lender to the next.

It is strongly recommended that you DO NOT apply for a payment holiday unless it is absolutely necessary, as the debt will have to be repaid along with accrued interest.

On a case by case basis this lender may consider either an interest only payment for an agreed period or in some cases a payment break.
